Ghana and Nigeria’s 2022 World Cup play-off has been rescheduled

after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) alerted the Nigeria

Football Federation of the change.

The first match will now take place on March 25 at Cape Coast Stadium, with the new date being announced shortly. The game will begin at 7.30 p.m.

It was originally slated for Thursday, March 24, but has now been pushed out to Friday, March 25.


The rematch between these two West African foes will now take place on Tuesday, March 29 at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, the Nigerian capital.

On March 27, the game was scheduled to take place.

To qualify for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, the victor will get one of five African tickets.
